SamahAbbasi has over ten years’ experience of policy and advocacy work on child rights and international development. As Private Sector Policy and Advocacy Adviser at Unicef UK, she works with business, civil society and government to advance corporate respect for children’s rights. Her role involves advocacy and advice to companies on how to incorporate children’s rights into their due diligence efforts and influencing government policies related to the private sector. Samah holds a BA (Hons) Politics and East European Studies from UCL and, previous to joining Unicef UK, she worked in Parliament for the Liberal Democrats.
