Othmar Lehner, PhD
Professor Othmar Lehner is Vice Dean for Research and a full-tenured professor at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (AACSB member), a visiting professorial fellow at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment at the University of Oxford, a senior lecturer at the University of Linz, and a long-term academic visitor at the Saïd Business School of the University of Oxford. His research interests are social and sustainable entrepreneurship, as well as related venture finance and impact investing; looking specifically at the motivations and the complex interplay of institutions, the participants and new instruments such as crowdfunding in the field. He serves as honorary director at the ACRN Oxford Research Network, in which Dr. Lehner currently leads a consortium of international researchers aiming to explore the dimensions of sustainable finance and impact investing.
