Datuk Noripah Kamso is currently a Visiting Fellow in Oxford Centre For Islamic Studies, tasked to establish an Islamic Finance Unit. In her role as a Banker for 30 years she has dedicated her last 10 years as the Founding CEO of a global Islamic asset management company, CIMB-Principal Islamic Asset Management, where she furthers the company’s footprints into UK, EU, GCC, Asia, USA, and Australia. After her early retirement, she continues to dedicate her work life in the academic space by bringing practice to the classroom. She lectured on Islamic Capital Market as Global Practitioner in Residence at Drake University, USA (2015), and she lectures annually at St. Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. Her 2nd book “Investing in Islamic Funds: A Practitioner’s Perspective” published by Wiley & Sons has also obtained global praise and international readership.
